Known to all mares universally as the safest location to bear foals, Fawn's Clearing is perhaps the safest of all areas in the Lands. Deer populate a large portion of this area, which is why the place was given this name. These deer are alert animals, and they will let mares know when predators are nearby.

Board Description
Eastern Forest
The larger of the two, the Eastern Forest is teeming with vegatation, trees, and animals. This place is a marker for adventure, but it also holds its dangers -- predators expect there to be prey around an area with a lot of vegetation, so it is best to remain alert. Continuing East from here leads you through the mouth at the base of the valley into the Tundra and Drylands.

This is where unclaimed mares reside.
