Pilafik - 1 Viewing Named for the numerous amounts of cacti and trees that blanket nearly the tip of Shahir, Pilafik is where lone horses wind up and find 'friends' with the shadows (quickly before falling to the sandy floor from dehydration). Shahir is not an easy place. Only the strong can survive. |

Meerkat Lane Aptly named for the dozens of holes easily found (and the numerous meerkats who skirt around), Meerkat Lane is another section of plants that offer more to animals than Pilafik does. There are some small pools of water (mostly where the meerkats come to drink), but nothing compares to the Oasis at the other side of Shahir. Sometimes, though, these small watering areas save lives. |

Heik A rather clear area in Shahir, Heik is where dust storms are not uncommon. It is not unnatural to see Camels crossing, along with various other animals. The dunes here can tower well over a horse's height, and offer shade -- but they come at the risk of wind toppling them over. If such should happen, a horse can easily drown in a sea of sand. |
