The time has come for nominations for this month's OTMs! You have the choice to nominate fellow members and characters to be featured on the side bars for the duration of the coming month. When nominating, please try to make as many points in their favor as you can so that the one you want to win does! Remember, the more you have to back you up, the more likely people will agree with you and nominate the same thing!
MOTM:
Nominate a mare you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! She must be three years of age or older, active in the past thirty days, and her owner must also be active. The ideal mare is active, impacts others, and can even be an inspiring individual. Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the mare's chance at winning!
SOTM:
Nominate a stallion you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! He must be three years of age or older, active in the past thirty days, and his owner must also be active. The ideal stallion is active, makes an impact on someone, and even possibly inspiring to others. Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the stallion's chance at winning!
FOTM:
Nominate a foal you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! It can be of either gender, but he or she must be under three years of age to qualify -- as well as active in the past thirty days, and its owner needs to be active as well. The ideal foal is active, has purpose, and even makes an impact on others. Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the foal's chance at winning!
ROTM:
Nominate a relationship you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! The horses (and owners!) need to have been active during this month. The ideal couple is active, has purpose, and even makes an impact on others. The relationship can be mutual, intimate, friend-on-friend, or anything of the like! Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the couple's chance at winning!
TOTM:
Nominate a thread you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! The thread must have been started during this month, but if does not have to be completed yet (better chances of others nominating the same thread if everyone is active!) to qualify. The ideal thread is active, has purpose, and even makes an impact on others. Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the thread's chance at winning! When nominating a thread, please provide the link in your nomination.
QOTM:
Nominate a quote you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! It can be from anywhere, but it must have been said during this month (and there must be proof!). Ideally, the quote was taken from something a character said in a thread, but quotes from members that can be proven are also accepted. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the quote's chance at winning! When nominating a quote, please remember to post a link when making your statement.
POTM:
Nominate a player you think deserves to hold the spotlight for this month! The ideal owner is active (past 30 days is required!), is friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Now, obviously all nominations won't have everything (it's extremely hard to be ideal!), but it's something to look for when choosing who to nominate. It can be for any reason, just remember that stating the reasons helps the member's chance at winning!
First and foremost, you are not required to make a nomination for every category. Actually, you're not required to nominate anything at all! It's just nice for others to know that fellow members are interested in giving the spotlight off to others. Please make sure to state which nomination(s) you're making (for what category), and why you're nominating. It just makes it easier for people to know why, and it makes it mean more to those being nominated in the first place! You may not nominate yourself or any of your characters, nor your own threads/quotes/couples, so please do not try. You have until 12:00 pm, October 1, 2011 to submit your nominations! Results will be posted sometime after Noon, before the next day. Winners of each category will receive $500 EQD. Best of luck, guys!

Who: Snow-luff
For What: POTM
Why: Because she's extremely friendly, always seems to be there under every circumstance, and manages to help everyone with anything at anytime, even from the tabputer xD
Who: Socrates
For What: SOTM
Why: Toast does an exceptional job with him. Every post I read with him is compelling up until the last word and then leaves me wanting to read more.
Who: Sacha
For What: MOTM
Why: Iuno, I just really like her character as a whole. She's a sweetheart, beautiful and kind. And I wanna hug her after her ordeal, and Xanthian is the one I have in mind to do it for me xD
Who: Definitely Maro
For What: FOTM
Why: This lil filly cracks me up. She's adorable with her unique coloring and personality to boot. The way she renames everyone she meets just to remember them is hilarious and cute. Just reading about her gets me laughing at her little antics. Definitely commending Tea for creating this lil bundle of joy xD

SOTM: Novakkkk <3 He's just very fun to play off of (and he seems pretty fun to play, too), since he's all bipolar and junk. It gives your characters something to think about or feel in your posts.
FOTM: I'm going to jump on the bandwagon here and go wih Maro! I've never even done a thread with her, but I've read a couple of the posts she's in and she's just such a sweetheart! Tea plays her so well, and the little quirks really help endear her to other members. ^^)
POTM: One person I've found to be extrememly friendly is Tea! She's friendly and always replies within a resonable amount of time, not to mention her posts are always really well-written and engaging. <3

MOTM: Cleopatra
Why: I love reading her posts. She's so bold and dramatic at times, it's hilarious. Nala plays her really well and I cant help but be amused by her character, even if it always gets her into trouble it seems. I hope she doesn't change any time soon XD
SOTM: Zephiathon
Why: He's got so many different sides to him, which make him incredibly interesting. Xen writes him really, really well and I never get bored with the Zeph posts I read. Not to mention his awesome 80's rocker hair XD
ROTM: Eztli and 'special' plants.
Why: You know what I'm talkin' 'bout.
TOTM: Points of Authority
Why: I'm not usually one to like reading fight threads, but this one kept my interest. Both Nala and Bat did great jobs with their characters, and played fair, which is great. It was a joy to read.
POTM: Xenan
Why: Always throws out great posts. He is a superb writer and is great at creating atmosphere to his posts. It's always easy to tell what his character is seeing, smelling, hearing, and thinking. His posts flow really well, too, and always remain interesting. He also seems open to threading with just about anyone, which is great.
