Darwin.
Although Darwin enjoyed the entire expanse of the Kuylin territory, today he had decided not to climb the mountains after returning from the free lands. The sun streamed down onto the thick, grass field of his childhood, and for a few minuets the dark grulla let down his guard. He knew it was a stupid idea, but the urge was just too tempting for his tender soul.
Gently he dropped down to his front knee's allowing the rest of his body to follow the process before throwing his head to the side and rolling about the meadow. The sweet scent of summer grass filled his nostrils and covered his coat in a light perfume. He couldn't allow himself to stay there, enjoying memories of his childhood, quickly he jumped back to his feet shaking out his mane as he regained his composure. This behavior was not that of a king, but it was what Darwin's heart was born to do.
Nothing had sprung upon him to rip his hide; no one had run up behind him to challenge his sanity. What harm had been done? A lite snort escaped him as he moved lazily to a shaded spot beneath a tree, his tail flicking the entire way.
