CATH. nature girl. It had to be the trees that drew the mare in. Up until now, the mare had kept to the free lands out of personal preference, but eventually she felt like there had to be something better out there for her. She was not too fond of the northern territories due to the chilling climates, so the mare figured the southern ones would be her best bet. Naturally, the forest was the first thing that she stumbled upon, but when she took that stroll through the trees, it was like something just clicked. The scent of the trees, the chirping birds; it all made her feel at home. She could have wondered about the owner of these lovely lands, but it didn't phase her at the time. After all, with all the beauty surrounding her, it was very easy to let her mind drift. Once she found herself pretty deep into the forest itself, the mare stopped moving completely. All four hooves on the ground, she gently shut her eyes and lifted her head high. This was, in fact, the only way she could take everything in all at once. The sounds and the smells and the atmosphere. It was just so pleasant for her.
Hearing a bird land on a tree branch nearby, the mare's left ear swiveled toward the creature as she peered out of her left eye. A gentle smile stretched across her face as the bird - a blue jay - began whistling a tune for her. "Oh, kind blue jay," she said, whispering just in case he got spooked by an outburst from a horse. "Your song is just lovely." The creature sung on, and eventually Cath found herself humming a little tune that mimicked the blue jay's. Even after the bird decided to flee suddenly, the mare hummed on. She allowed herself to explore the forest even more as she continued moving along, weaving slowly between each tree.
After doing this for quite a while, the mare stopped once again, but this time it was not to listen to nature. A bit nervously, she glanced around at the trees surrounding her. Quickly she came to the realization that she was lost in this place. Of course she had to hope that someone was around, but then again, you could never tell who - or what - could be out there, if there were anyone there at all. Though she'd hate to draw attention to herself, she decided that it would really be the only way for her to possibly find help. Clearing her throat, she announced, "hello? Is anyone out there?" A nervous chuckle followed. "I'm a little lost!" Her head snapped around as she looked very hard for another of her species to come along.

Patches of fertile grasses were scattered across the surface that reached for the rising sun. Beautiful ivory white clouds were dotted at the blue heavens, floating around, making the most gorgeous figures. Fighting horses, a little butterfly, a frantic little bird. Oh, the wonders of nature. A soft, genuine smile adorned her elegantly built head as she saw a butterfly flying merrily around, perching down on her golden coated back. The mare looked over her shoulder, gently breezing against the little creature - causing it to fly away again, continuing her journey through the blue heavens.
Adiya clearly enjoyed her environments here, it all seemed so peaceful with the sound of zephyrs rolling off from the horizon through the branches of trees in the forests, the sound of birds singing their morning song and the feeling of fresh dew against her legs. The soft sound of rippling waters caressed her ears, twitching them forwards to track the waters, hoping it could quiet her thirst. The mare could see the forests nearing her and when she arrived at the river, she scanned her surroundings once more. The forest was near now, it divided the grasses from the trees, the river a source of refreshment.
When a soft, youthful voice caressed her ears, she raised her head from the shimmering water's surface. Warm sun rays heated her coat as the mare turned around on her hind legs, scanning the area with her deep brown eyes. She could hear a nervous chuckle from far away, trailing off when the wind embraced it. There she saw the white mare, her coat shining in a pearly white color when the sun hit her body.
"Are you okay?" she asked softly, giving the mare a genuine smile.

CATH. nature girl. The voice was quiet enough for the mare to miss it, at least, if she hadn't been paying attention. The gentle sound made the mare turn her head immediately, almost fearfully to be honest. Though she had been looking for another horse, she still had to take caution since she was, in fact, lost. Seeing as it was only another mare, however, Cath was able to calm herself a bit. Her alert expression faded, and her high neck came closer to the ground. She gave a relieved smile as her eyes rested upon this stranger. The way that the sun shown between the trees on to her coat was quite a sight to see. It would be impolite if Cath didn't acknowledge her presence.
The mare moved her legs around and began moving through the trees again, heading toward the mare who had called out to her. She kept a welcoming smile on her face and spoke as she moved. "Fine, but like I said, I'm a little lost in here," she said, giving a chuckle. The mare looked around at the trees above their heads for a brief moment before turning back to the stranger. "It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Cath. What might yours be?" A cute little tilt of the head accompanied the mare's question. She was quite glad that she had stumbled upon someone who was seemingly nice.

•• ADIYA.
Branches creaked underneath the tiny hooves of the youthful mare when she trotted towards Adiya. A worried glance lit up in her eyes, but soon vanished again, it seemed that the filly was happy to see her.
Her light footsteps broke the silence, slowly moving into the forest. The trees raised high into the clear sky, the wind blew gently through her mane, through the vivid green leaves, they whispered to her. The bright blue sky and a fresh breeze gave the mare some energy. She inhaled the fresh air and shook her head, the mare enjoyed the fresh wind that seemed to carry her mane on his wings, embracing her when it whispered through the trees.
The mare was just adorable, her head tilted and a soft, gentle chuckle escaped her lips. "I'm called Adiya. Nice to meet you, Cath" she said softly, reaching out for the filly with her muzzle. "Shall we wander around some more? I could help you out of here afterwards" Adiya said in her soft-spoken voice. This youthful mare seemed like good company, and she really needed some after her long journey without any fellow equines by her side.

CATH. nature girl. Cath smiled sweetly, greatful that a kind mare such as Adiya was around to help the mare out. To be honest, she probably would have wandered around more and just hope that she'd find her way out on her own, but she was glad that now she had someone to talk to as they continued through the trees. Cath repeated the mare's name quietly to herself so that she may gather her own opinion on it. Really, Cath rarely hated anything, so of course she took a liking to the name. It was pretty, and she compared it to the beauty of a flower. A pink one, in fact.
The mare moved to Adiya's side and began to admire the trees above her, just as she had done before. "I suppose we could explore this marvelous place a bit longer," she said to the mare. Suddenly curious, the mare felt the need to question this stranger a bit more. "So...do you live here? I have been thinking about living here myself. It's quite beautiful." Cath really hoped that the mare did indeed live here, for then that could bring her one step closer to making the forest her home. "Of course, I'll have to get to know every corner of this place in case I ever got lost again, but it shouldn't be too difficult. Everything here is so unique." The mare moved slowly alongside her new companion, still admiring every single corner of this forest.

•• ADIYA.
Moist from last night’s rain that had washed and refreshed the forests still slumbered in the terra. The soft touch of leaves and grasses, covered with dew, stroking over her hocks prickled her senses. The crisp, fresh air purified her lungs when she drew a deep breath. Sound of hooves, stepping in a rhythmic pace over the soil was muted by the loam earth of the woods. Birds sang their morning song in the shadows of the highest trees and it all seemed so peaceful on this tranquil morning. Adiya was pleased with her new friend, the youthful white mare was such wonderful company. And the filly managed to bring a smile to her face, adorning her face like a bright, golden sun on a cold winter day.
"Well, it's quite a beautiful place here," she said, a gentle laugh escaping from her maw once more. "And I find this woods quite interesting," another reply was spoken from her maw, her eyes scanning the beautiful forests once more. Adiya simply couldn't take her eyes of off such marvelous environments. "And Cath, I think we can assist each other on exploring this place, and getting to know the woods" the mare said with a small wink.
