Unfortunate events.. First, my dog, Rocco decided he was gonna eat a sock which obstructed his GI system, turning a sock that I didn't even realize I had into a $2,000 sock _-_
THEN, last weekend after work I took Titan for a good, long ride to enjoy a good evening ride when it's nice and cool. But afterward, as I was dismounting, something scared the hell out of him and he reared up and lept to the side. Well, I had already come out of the saddle part-way, so I hit the ground hard. Long story short, I reinjured my knee- same one I had fractured a couple years ago. Except this time, the fracture was a lot worse. Doc said it was shattered and that I had to have surgery so I (of course) agreed.. But THEN, after I woke up from it, they told me there were complications so they held me for a night and a day to run tests. BAH... No worries, I'm okay, just recovering and in quite a bit of pain..
SO.. Unfortunately, due to money issues and such, I had to cut down on some costs- one of which being my cable/internet.. I don't like it at all, of course, but I just have to catch up a bit on hospital bills.. Hopefully it'll only be for a month or two with all of my jobs, but fortunately, this doesn't mean I won't be able to get on once and a while when I get a chance (and a clear signal) =]
I am not leaving forever, so no worries about that. Just know that for a month or two I can't be on as avidly as I'd like -.-
